What this website is, and what it is not

01 — What these terms cover

This website is published by POPHIES LTD. under the brand POPHIES. Reading it, downloading a document from it or sending an enquiry through it does not by itself create a contract between you and us. A contract exists when an order or a written quotation is confirmed by both sides.

02 — Product information and specifications

Dimensions, light output, colour temperature, control behaviour, materials, finishes and installation types are published so that a model can be compared and specified. They describe the current range, and they can change with a design revision, a material change or a project requirement.

The specification confirmed in writing for your project is the one that governs. Where this website and that document differ, the document decides — for a standard order, a customization project or a full development alike.

03 — Photographs and documents

Photographs on this site show real products, real samples or real production; stock imagery and generated images are not presented as evidence of what we make. Drawings, catalogues and specification sheets are for evaluation, and the current revision is what we send on request: a superseded or internal revision is never published here.

04 — Certification and compliance

This website publishes no certification status and no certification mark, because conformity belongs to a model, a market and a configuration together. Conformity documents and test reports are confirmed for a specific model and a specific destination market by email, as described on the Downloads page.

Checking that a product meets the rules of the market you sell into — including any requirement your own customer, insurer or authority adds — remains the buyer’s responsibility, and we answer the questions it raises as part of the enquiry.

05 — Prices, stock and availability

Prices, stock levels and shipping rates are not published on this website, and nothing here can be bought directly. Availability, price and delivery are confirmed against a specific enquiry, a specific quantity and a specific destination, in writing.

06 — Quotations and commercial terms

The defaults below apply to a model ordered from the current range as it is. They are published so you can plan, and they are not a quotation.

A customized project carries its own tooling, sampling, MOQ and lead-time terms, confirmed per project by email before quotation, as described on the OEM / ODM page. Only the written quotation for your project makes those terms binding, and an order confirmation is what starts production.

Nothing on this website is an order commitment. A figure, a date or a statement here is a description of how we work, not a promise attached to your order.

07 — What you send us

Information you send through the enquiry form, and the documents you send by email afterwards, are handled as described in the privacy policy: the form is emailed to us rather than stored on this website, and it is used to answer your enquiry.

08 — Content, brand names and reuse

The text, photographs, drawings and documents published here belong to us or to the party that supplied them, and may not be reused commercially without written permission. A buyer’s own brand names, logos and artwork stay theirs: they appear on this website only where that buyer has authorized it, and they are used on a product only where the buyer is entitled to use them.

09 — Which terms apply to an order

Quotations and orders are governed by the terms named in the written quotation or the sales contract, including the law and the dispute-resolution arrangement that document names. This website does not replace that document, and where the two differ, the document decides.

10 — Changes to this page

This page is part of the website and changes with it. The terms that apply to your order are the ones in the written quotation or contract, not the version of this page you happened to read first.
