01 — Background

A focused supplier,
not a catalogue of everything.

We sell what we make, and we make two things: wall lights and picture lights. That focus is deliberate — it is why a modification request can be answered by the engineer who owns the design.

POPHIES designs, produces and exports indoor decorative lighting for customers who buy to resell: lighting brands, importers, wholesalers, distributors and stores, as well as museums and galleries that need their pictures lit properly.

Cooperation usually starts from a product we already build. When the standard version does not fit, we adjust it — appearance, dimensions, materials, finish, light source, electrical parameters, battery, mounting or packaging. Deeper custom development is taken on when the volume, budget and timeline make a real project of it.

Orders are supported with OEM work under your own brand: name plate, logo, labels, manuals, colour boxes and cartons, laid out from your files and confirmed in writing before production.

What a POPHIES order can include

  • Products from the existing range, or modifications of them
  • OEM and ODM development, including tooling where it is needed
  • Samples, validation and a sealed sample before mass production
  • Printed OEM material: name plate, manual, colour box, carton
  • Production quality control and pre-shipment inspection documents
  • A 2-year warranty, with compensation for confirmed defects

02 — Focus

Two product families,
studied in depth.

Both families are sold in three power modes, so the same design can be hardwired into a new build or fitted to a finished room without opening the wall.

Wall lights

Light where a room is used, not only where it is wired.

Wall lighting for residential and commercial interiors: reading and bedside lights, bathroom and vanity fittings, corridor and hospitality lighting. Modern and vintage looks, in finishes chosen to match the metalwork already in the room.

Hardwired Plug-in Rechargeable
Picture lights

Light on the picture, not on the room.

Picture lights for photographs, paintings, prints and wall art in homes, galleries and museums. Adjustable heads that place light across the surface, in the colour temperature and output the work needs.

03 — Team

A small team that covers
the whole chain.

Enquiry, engineering, sourcing, production and quality sit inside one company — the colleague quoting your order can walk over to the engineer who designed it.

Product

Product development

Product definition, drawings, model selection, and the route from a customer request to a buildable specification.

Electronics

Electronics engineering

LED boards, drivers, dimming and charging electronics, including battery and charge management for rechargeable models.

Structure

Structural engineering

Housing, arms, joints and mounting bases, worked out so the product assembles cleanly and mounts securely.

Sourcing

Sourcing & purchasing

Components, finishes and packaging bought against the confirmed specification and the confirmed volume.

Production

Production

Small and medium batches assembled, tested and packed in one process, with the sealed sample as the standard.

Quality

Quality control

Incoming components, in-process checks and final inspection, documented and carried through to shipment.

04 — Capability

Development speed,
with the checks behind it.

Some projects move from definition to sample in about a month. That pace only holds because validation, testing and inspection are normal steps here, not exceptions.

Validation

Engineering validation

Every design is checked against its specification before a sample is approved for sending.

Testing

Type testing

High and low voltage, drop and vibration testing are part of the development record of a product.

Samples

Sealed samples

The confirmed and sealed sample is the reference for every later production batch of the same order.

Production

Control during production

Quality checks run through production rather than only at the end of the line.

Inspection

Inspection support

Customers and third-party inspectors are welcome to examine goods at the factory before shipment.

Compliance

Certification by model

UL, ETL, CE, FCC, RoHS, GPSR, energy-efficiency, EPR and WEEE requirements are checked per model and per market. A quotation confirms only the certificates that apply to the model quoted.

05 — Markets

Built for how Europe and
North America buy.

Our work is export. Documents, packaging, certification checks and delivery terms are set up for buyers who order from outside China.

Most of our customers are small and medium businesses in Europe and North America that buy to sell: lighting brands building their own range, importers and wholesalers carrying several finishes and styles, regional distributors and stores, and building-material channels.

We also supply museums, galleries and projects that need photographs and artwork lit to a professional standard, where glare, colour rendering and the spread of light across a surface matter as much as the fitting itself.

We are set up for customers who order repeatedly in the hundreds and low thousands rather than for very large single tenders, and for customers who need their own brand on the product.

Who we work with

  • Lighting brands and private-label sellers
  • Importers, wholesalers and regional distributors
  • Retail and building-material channels
  • Museums, galleries and art projects
  • 100 pcsStandard minimum, existing products
  • 3–4 weeksProduction of existing products
  • 1 monthDevelopment to sample on some projects
  • EXW / FOBDelivery terms

06 — How we work

Four rules we keep.

They are not slogans. Each one is a decision you can see in a quotation, a sample or a shipment.

01 / Quality

Quality before price.

A project starts by agreeing both the target price and the price we can hold. Where the two cannot meet, we say so instead of quietly changing the specification.

02 / Quantity

Small volumes are normal.

Existing products start at 100 pieces, and logo, label, manual or standard packaging changes stay at that level. New colours, finishes, parts or packaging are quoted with the volume the supply chain needs.

03 / Samples

What is sealed is what ships.

Sample confirmation and a sealed sample fix the standard. Mass production is measured against that sample, not against a rendering or an illustration.

04 / Contact

One person, start to end.

The colleague who answers your enquiry stays with the order through quotation, samples, production, inspection and delivery.

07 — Inside

Real people, real workshop.

Photographs of our team and workshop are being prepared. The blocks below hold their positions and show what each one will document.

Start here

Tell us what you are
working on.

Send the product, the quantity and the market you are buying for. We answer within 4 working hours, and at the latest within 24 hours.

  1. Your enquiry arrives

It reaches the person who will handle it — enquiries are not routed through a sales queue.

  2. We reply and fill the gaps

First contact confirms receipt and asks for whatever is still needed before anything can be quoted.

  3. Product recommendation

We point to the closest product we already build, or set out what a modification — or a deeper custom development — would involve.

  4. Internal check, then quotation

Engineering feasibility, cost, certification, minimum quantity and lead time are checked inside the company before a formal quotation is issued.

  5. Sample and sealed sample

Samples are paid for and sent. Once you confirm the sample, the approved unit is sealed as the production standard.

  6. Production, inspection, delivery

Production runs with quality control throughout, followed by pre-shipment inspection and delivery on EXW or FOB terms. Arrival follow-up, the 2-year warranty and repeat orders come after.
